Estate Coffeehouse @ Taman Midah | Look out for this hidden gem in the neighbourhood!

What we tried

  • Fish fingers
  • Raspberry matcha cake
  • Ice orange tea

The Food

Nestled in a cozy corner of the city, Estate Coffeehouse is a hidden gem for food hunters who are seeking a delightful fusion of flavors and creativity. During our recent visit, we had the pleasure of indulging in three delectable offerings that left a lasting impression on both our taste buds and our memories.

The adventure began with the crispy and inviting Fish Fingers. Presented in all their golden glory, these bite-sized delights were a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. With each bite, a satisfying crunch gave way to tender fish that was cooked to perfection. However, what truly elevated this dish was the accompaniment of tartare sauce. The creamy and tangy sauce provided a wonderful contrast to the crunchiness of the fish fingers, creating a harmonious symphony of flavors that left us yearning for more.

Moving on to the Raspberry Matcha Cake, our taste buds were greeted by an elegant masterpiece. The cake exuded an air of sophistication with its delicate layers and intricate design. The first forkful was a revelation, as the light and airy texture melted in our mouths. The matcha flavor, known for its complexity, revealed its myriad facets, dancing harmoniously with the fruit-forward notes of raspberry. What made it special was the raspberry cream filling, which added a creamy richness to the cake and perfectly complemented the matcha’s earthy undertones.

The Drink

As we sought respite from heat, the Ice Orange Tea proved to be a refreshing oasis. With each sip, the invigorating flavor of fresh oranges was pronounced, invigorating our senses and offering a welcome burst of citrusy goodness. The addition of honey imparted a natural sweetness that balanced the tanginess of the oranges, making for a well-rounded and satisfying beverage. The Ice Orange Tea felt like a rejuvenating escape on a hot day, leaving us cool, satisfied, and ready for whatever the day had in the restaurant.

Overall

To conclude our trip here, Estate Coffeehouse had not only satisfied our cravings but also left an indelible mark on our culinary journey. The Fish Fingers, Raspberry Matcha Cake, and Ice Orange Tea were a triumphant trio that showcased the restaurant’s dedication to quality and innovation.

Unfortunately, our exploration at Estate Coffeehouse was limited to only the above offerings, as we regrettably did not have the opportunity to sample their mains and other delights. The menu showcased a diverse array of dishes that left us intrigued and eager to return for another visit.

With the same level of creativity and dedication that shone through in the dishes we did try, we have no doubt that their mains and other offerings would be equally exceptional, making for an even more comprehensive and fulfilling dining experience.
